“I think I’m pretty proud of myself these past few weeks have been pretty rocky and hard, from not knowing if I was going to compete due to injury to changing around programs pretty much every day. I’m happy with both of my performances, I pushed through and didn’t give up and I think that it’s something I should be pretty proud of. Had I not had the mental strength that you have taught me it could have gone in a totally different direction. This season was so great and being 5th in Canada when I didn’t perform my best is crazy to think.
If you told me a year and a half ago when I decided to move here that I would win challenge and be 5th at nationals plus the fact that I am landing flip and lutz let alone at competition I would think you were crazy! This much improvement in only a year is more than I could have imagined. I am so grateful for you because you made it possible for me to get through Nationals, I am so excited for this upcoming season. So let me rephrase that I am 1000% proud of myself and I can’t wait for what is to come! Thank you for all you did for me so that I can realize my dreams.”
